“A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another.”

(John 13:34 NIV)

“Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you.”

(Eph. 4:32 ESV)

The Seed of Redemption is the commitment to loving others as God loves us. We must sow the Seed of Redemption to meet the need to be loved unconditionally. We sow the seed of Redemption or agape love when we seek reconciliation and when we love each other in spite of the ugly things that we see during the course of marriage. When your partner is miserable, move towards him or her. Love him or her as Christ loved you by focusing on his or her needs and not his or her faults. A redemptive relationship is one in which both partners are consistently rescuing each other by turning potentially destructive moments into foundations for mutual growth.
